The Encyclopedia will present – lucidly and authentically – the vast panorama of Hinduism, giving a faithful record of this heritage from time immemorial. To ensure comprehensive coverage, the entries of the Encyclopedia are conveniently prepared under the following twelve subject areas

The entries will be arranged alphabetically for easy access. Whenever possible, words in Hindi and other Indian languages will be included, along with English and Sanskrit entries. There will be cross-references and a select bibliography at the end of each article for further reading. The Encyclopedia will also include a comprehensive index and glossary.
