One of the numerous Women's Vocational Training Centers in the Himalayas.

Parmarth Vidya Mandir: Women's Education

The facilities at this large women’s vocational training institute include: sewing, arts/handicrafts, yoga, karate, music, dance and adult education. The center was inaugurated on June 6, 2000.

At that time, on opening day, 300 women came for vocational training classes. However, by the grace of God, we now have over 1100 women and girls coming each day to learn vocational training, adult education and music/dance/arts.

Plans are underway to build a computer center here where the local children can learn computer and typing skills which will be a great asset toward their future employability and professional lives.
